Keywords Studios (KWS) has announced the acquisition of d3t for £3m, a very complementary addition to its newly started software engineering service line. As highlighted in our initiation report (October 18th), engineering provides KWS with good opportunities similar to art creation. It does so in terms of both higher quality value add and exposure to new segments within the game development cycle. KWS only made its first move into engineering in May of this year with the acquisition of Game Sim.
